These Cotton Union Suits are the old fashioned kind with the opening in the back.
Most associate the union suit with a square seat flap which drops downward when unfastened from two or more buttons.
To save on production costs, these union suits have a vertical, single-button seat. (we get many inquiries for the old fashioned square flap in the back, we don't know where these are made anymore if they even are.)

The Union Suits are warm and exotic. Yes, they are very similar to the ones that J.L. Sullivan wore as a boxer in the 1890's. (the man who made the phrase "long Johns" famous )

These "Union Suits" are marked: "slightly irregular" which means that they have not passed the inspection to be judged 1st quality.
Sometimes, this means it is a thread the wrong color of a defect in a thread in the material.
Sometimes, it can be a small hole in the fabric that has usually been sewn (repaired).
Sometimes, the fabric is the wrong color.
It never means that one arm is missing or too short or something that is not usable.
The "Waffle-knit" union suits are 50/50 poly/cotton. All the rest are 100% cotton.

Rest assured that you have 30 days in which to return the item if not satisfied.

They are sized a bit large but keep in mind they are 100% Cotton and will shrink

Youth Unisex sizing:

These (Youth sizes) are the sizes (above) listed by the maufacturer. However, there has been some confusion as to what it means SO:
We measured the youth sizes from top (top of collar at the neck) to bottom (bottom of cuff at lower ankle) and here are the measurements:
Youth Small:42"
Youth Medium: 50"
Youth Large: 55"
Youth XL: 60"
Keep in mind the union suits are 100% cotton and are NOT preshrunk so they tend to look bigger than these sizes before you wash them.
